Leader

I found unexpected inspiration in a viral video of a baboon confronting a leopard to protect its group. In that moment of bravery, I saw strength. At the New York Academy of Art, I found a stuffed baboon specimen in the animal collection and created this drawing. It’s a tribute to that fearless leader, a reminder of courage in unexpected places.1,000 USD

Apples & Oranges

Oil & Color pencil on primed iMac screen
25.6x20.3 Inches

2026
Coming from a background in digital art, I created “Apples & Oranges,” a series of three still life paintings of oranges, painted on primed iMac screens. The title highlights the contrast: the “apples” represent the iMacs—symbols of my digital past—while the “oranges” evoke the observational practice of traditional painting. The phrase underscores two worlds that can’t be directly compared. By uniting them, the project explores continuity and change. The digital screen becomes a canvas where each brushstroke is final—holding time, texture, and presence—shifting me from an editable digital image to one that is fully lived.12,000 USD

Camus

Cyanotype & Acrylic on canvas
22x28 Inches

2025
This painting is a portrait of Albert Camus, my second favorite writer after Dostoevsky. In "The Myth of Sisyphus," Camus confronts the question of suicide, arguing we must find joy even in an absurd world. That idea shapes this portrait. The pink mark suggests a noose—yet at first glance, it’s almost like jewelry. Despite the heavy theme, the painting isn’t bleak—like Camus, it reflects finding light within the absurd.3,000 USD

Mother

Oil on canvas
30x48 Inches

2025
In this painting, a young woman sits in a dark room, illuminated only by a soft, unseen candle-like glow. The scene reflects my childhood in 1990s Georgia, where daily power cuts left our home mostly in darkness. In those shadows, I remember the silhouettes of my family, and that dim environment became a place of safety for me. Like the baroque light of Rembrandt, this darkness taught me that even a small glimmer of light was enough to see home and feel safe.5,000 USD

Brothers

Oil on canvas
60x40 Inches

2025
This painting is inspired by Dostoevsky’s "The Brothers Karamazov," where Alyosha, Ivan, and Dmitri represent the spiritual, rational, and conflicted sides of one persona. In this work, I use light as the narrative backbone, moving from light to dark, reflecting the inner transformation. The surface shifts physically too—I apply tar, altering the texture as the painting darkens. As the light fades, the persona encounters its shadow, and the material echoes this journey into the darker side of the self.6,000 USD

Dreaming Georgia

Acrylic & Oil on canvas
54x84 Inches

2025
In this painting, I’m depicted asleep at a table in the lower left, while a large two-headed eagle dominates the upper right.

Inspired by Goya’s “The Sleep of Reason Produces Monsters,” the eagle symbolizes Russia’s looming presence over Georgia today. While I feel paralyzed—unable to act, Georgians have taken to the streets for over a year, protesting the government’s shift back under Russia’s wing after decades of progress toward Europe. My closest friend - Giorgi Okmelashvili was imprisoned for protesting, sentenced to five years.

Half of this painting’s proceeds will support his wife and child, who have been left to manage without him, as he raised his voice to defend Georgia’s future.
